Miriam moved to New York City in 1996 and had several gallery shows in Manhattan. In 1997 she was the winner of the US-Artist Green card which lead her to immigrate permanently. In 1998 she moved to Los Angeles to work as a visual artist up until 2009. In 2008 she received an official Certificate signed by the Major of the City of Los Angeles based on the City Art Show curated by Senior Senator Pasqual Bettio. Miriam's illustrations are licensed only through Illustration Source in NYC.
